It's not same as polished and beautiful like the 1.0.4.0 version but it works fine which was my only goal here so please don't complain when your game doesn't look same as good as on my shown screenshots. This mod was developed for GTA IV patch 1.0.4.0 but later I decided to add compatibility to patch 1.0.7.0/1.0.8.0 and also to EFLC. I spent about 300 hours to make this mod. My inspiration was the never released Icenhancer C by Icelaglace and Natural Vision Remastered by Razed for GTA V. This mod aims to make GTA IV more natural, less dark and more vibrant. Edited Novemby fefenc Then I believe CryENB suits more GTA IV/TLAD feel and Icenhancer 3 suits more the TBoGT feel What I have to say is that if the person likes an happy feeling, they should use Icenhancer 3 and if the person likes the gritty themed city, they should use CryENB3. (The headlight bug is from a fix that JulioNIB made for the First-Person mod I've done to allow me to see raindrops, bullets and another kind of stuff from the cars windows glasses, but it makes the 3°person camera bug only for the player car headlights )ĬryENB has updated a lot of eyecand aspects from the Icenhancer 3, like the godrays that is 1349817x better on insane config, the anamorphic lens that looks awesome, the AA, the fact that I can see the cars windows glasses while inside them, etc and I believe that Icenhancer users can borrow the insane godrays from Cryenb3 and Cryenb3 users can borrow the detailed ped models from Icenhancer 3ĬryENB3 has done an awesome work on the day time while Icenhancer 3 has done an awesome of work at night time, but icenhancer3 should have a less red colored sky at sunny/windy weather, but the red sky fits nicely on raining nights and on foggy nights CryENB uses some resources borrowed from Icenhancer 3 as the moving clouds and the no-dynamic-shadows cars headlights ( ) What I could see is Icenhancer 3 has a happier and cleaner vibe while Cryenb3 has a darker and gritty vibe that most of ENBs seems to remove from GTA IV even on the foggy weather, cryenb3 at night with a foggy weather didn't gave me a similar dark and denser feel as GTA IV, it gave me a GTA III feel of a dark athmosphere. Mods, I'm sorry for the double-bumping-post, but I must say that almost everything I said above are bullsh*t.īoth mods are too much DIFFERENT from eachother, I installed the cryenb3 today and I must say that it's too much different from icenhancer 3.0 on very aspects.
